STATE CERTIFIED WATER TESTING

Have you had your water tested?

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the answer to this question depends on several factors. It concerns the health of you and your family.

In addition to health issues, there are a variety of less serious problems such as taste, color, odor and staining of clothes and fixtures that indicate possible water quality problems. You should also consider your well’s proximity to septic systems and the composition of your home’s plumbing materials. You alone are responsible to assure your water supply is safe. Therefore, the EPA strongly recommends you test your water every year for total coliform bacteria, nitrates, total dissolved solids and pH levels.

Have you had your water tested before? Many things can change your water quality, including new wells, replaced/repaired pipe, chemical/fuel spills near your water source and annual precipitation levels. Regular testing can also be valuable in establishing a record of water quality to create the peace of mind your family deserves.

State Certified Water Tests need to be picked up in person and collected samples need to be dropped off in person.
